Saturdays from 10am - 2pm on April 1st, 15th, 29th, 2023, all ages and family sizes!
Come alive as you become the wild. At the Wildlings Earth School, Nature is both our classroom and our guide. Through fun and engaging experiences and stories, Wildlings transforms learning from imaginary to real and knowing becomes firsthand.
Wildlings curriculum focuses on nature awareness (ecoconsciousness, reciprocity, and respect for the self and others), food nurturing and harvesting (soil health, animal husbandry, wild edibles, and gardening), and wildlife identification (trees, meadows, birds, and mammals).
Wildlings is intended to give all school attendees (no previous experiences required!) the opportunity to learn and experience the wild via mentor-guided and hands-on experiences and stories.
Each ticket includes the admission of one family of any size into all three school days (April 1st,15th, 29th). We ask that every family brings a picnic lunch to satisfy the needs of your family.
In this course, you will learn:
Nature Awareness
Learn ecoconsciousness, reciprocity, and respect for the self and others by exploring the quietness, stories, and breathe of wild places.
Learn about soil health by getting your hands dirty, as we allow the living earth between our fingers to educate the mind between our ears.
Food Nurturing and Harvesting
Learn animal husbandry by safely working with cattle, sheep, goats, and chickens and wild foraging and gardening by exploring their natures individually.
We will even help establish the spring garden!
Wildlife Identification
Learn how to identify the wild ones all around us from trees to flowers to meadow grasses to birds and mammals.
Are you ready to begin!?
